Banda Aceh, Monday (July 23, 2018).
Aceh Investment and One Stop Integrated Services re-organize Socialization of Regional Investment Potential Information System (SIPID) Year 2018. SIPID is a web-based information system that serves to provide information about potential investment area. SIPID is also one of BKPM’s efforts in contributing to achieving investment targets by facilitating and promoting opportunities and investment potential owned by the region. SIPID will continue to integrate between Provinces, Regencies / Cities which can be accessed directly by investors and prospective investors at home and abroad.
This was conveyed by Mr. Wing Parikesit as Head of Subdivision of Primary and Tertiary Sector, Directorate of Regional Potential Development of BKPM RI. Dissemination of Information Systems and Regional Investment Potential (SIPID) held at Grand Arabia Hotel Monday, July 23, 2018, also presented Astrid Indah Lestari speakers who served as SIPID Managers. In addition to presenting the material, Astrid also directly gave simulations to participants how to use SIPID. Participants looked enthusiastic in learning the input of potential investment data in their respective regions.
One of the participants from Lhokseumawe City named Rizal Haiqi asked whether SIPID has any legal basis. Because according to him, if the legal basis is not clear, the attention of the local government to such data is minimal. If there is no legal basis, rizal proposes to make regulations from the center for later adoption by the Government of Aceh into the Governor Regulation, Regulations or Regional Regulations for clarity of data from this SIPID.
“The legal basis does not exist but related to SIPID is our tupoksi which refers to Head of BKPM Regulation No. 1 of 2011 that is to identify, analyze the potentials and opportunities to the electronic documentation. However, SIPID was created to provide space for regional friends to utilize this system. We hope that we only support data from the regions even though there is no legal umbrella,” said Mr. Wing. (ys).
